Privacy Policy
How Manne Technologies collects, uses and protects personal data when you use this website or get in touch with us.
Who we are
This website is operated by Manne Technologies ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Manne IT Solutions, with its place of business at Hyderabad, Telangana, India. We build and operate our own software products.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described in this policy. You are the Data Principal.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the website at https://manne.work and any enquiry you send us through it. It does not cover the products we build and operate for our customers — where we process data inside those products on a customer's behalf, we act as a Data Processor and that customer's own privacy notice applies.
Personal data we collect
We keep this deliberately narrow. We collect:
- Information you give us in the contact form — your name and email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your company, the nature of your project and the content of your message.
- Information you give us when you apply for a role, including anything contained in what you send us.
- Technical information collected automatically when you visit — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page. This is standard server and analytics log data.
- Your theme preference (light or dark), stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We process the personal data you submit through the contact form for the specific purpose of responding to your enquiry, on the basis of the consent you give when you submit it. We process recruitment information to assess your application.
We process technical log data to keep the site available, secure and working correctly, and to understand in aggregate which pages are useful. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not sell it.
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Consent, and withdrawing it
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by writing to us at the address below. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. It does not affect anything we lawfully did before you withdrew it, and if withdrawal means we can no longer answer your enquiry, we will tell you so.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only where we have to:
- With service providers who host our website, deliver our email and provide analytics, strictly so they can perform those services for us, and under contract.
- Where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a government authority acting within its powers.
- With a successor entity, if the business is reorganised, merged or acquired — in which case this policy continues to apply to the personal data transferred.
Where it is processed
We are based in India and process personal data in India. Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we transfer data only to jurisdictions permitted under the DPDP Act and we require appropriate contractual protection.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to twenty-four months afterwards so we have context if you come back to us. We keep recruitment information for up to twelve months from the close of the role unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Technical log data is retained for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes.
When personal data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, and we are not required to retain it by law, we erase it.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data: encryption in transit, access controlled by role, and separation between environments. Security is part of how we build rather than a review at the end — the same standard we apply to the products we operate.
No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as required under the DPDP Act.
Your rights
As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to erase personal data where it is no longer needed and we are not required to keep it.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and is never sent to us. Any analytics we run is configured to collect aggregate usage only.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under the age of eighteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
Contact and grievance redressal
Questions, requests and complaints about personal data go to our Grievance Officer, appointed under the DPDP Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000:
TO BE CONFIRMED · praveen@manne.work · Hyderabad, Telangana, India
We acknowledge grievances promptly and aim to resolve them within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
